Semuliki National Park
Semuliki National Park covers 220 km² and is an extension of the ancient Ituri forest of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The park is home to 53 mammal species and 441 bird species, including many species found nowhere else in East Africa. The famous Sempaya hot springs are one of the highlights of any visit.

The Nightingale of Sassi
One of the park's 441 bird species, many of them endemic to the Ituri Forest.

Pygmy Hippopotamus
The rare pygmy hippopotamus can sometimes be seen in the park's rivers.

Local Community & Culture
The Batwa pygmies and Bakonzo community share their knowledge of the rainforest with visitors. The Sempaya Hot Springs are a cultural and geological highlight.
